There is no compromise in the quality of sound or playability to make this guitar market friendly. This is a powerful and serious presence in professional ensemble performance and recording. Years of field testing have refined the specifications to a 32 inch scale on a dense vintage Mahogany body with a master quality Sitka Spruce top meeting strict and specific tonal criteria. SCGC’s True Acoustic Bass does not rely on a pickup for its presence, though we offer the option of installing a pickup system to enhance its applications. Other options include 5 strings and custom string spacing.
