Here is a remarkable new palette of colors to add to your performance. Professional session players have escorted this sonorous, growling, chiming delight into top recording studios to bring depth and attention to their solos and melodic accompaniment. There is truly nothing like the SCGC Mandocello out there, aside from some vintage archtop rarities which lack the sustain and playability.
‘Familiar and easy’ describes the 24-3/4 inch scale length. Four paired strings, most popularly tuned in unison to C-G-D-A, are comfortably spaced at the 1-1/2 inch nut. This instrument fills a hall with luxurious and satisfying resonance. The EQ is even by design, to allow the artist to determine the relative volume of high to low notes. We chose the SCGC F Model body for the standard Mandocello, though do consider the Mandocello as an option for most SCGC body styles. Wait until you get your hands on this one; you’ll write new songs, try new techniques and never run out of inspiration.
